CBE Book Club is starting up again, and we hope you will join us. The first book to be discussed will be An Improbable Friendship, the dual biography of Ruth Dayan, who was Moshe Dayan's wife for thirty-seven years, and Palestinian journalist Raymonda Tawil, Yasser Arafat's mother-in-law. It reveals for the first time the two women’s surprising and secret forty-year friendship and delivers the story of their extraordinary and turbulent lives growing up in a war-torn country. -

In time to make Chanukah gifts! Pressed flower artist, Ellie Roden, will be offering a 2-hour workshop on creating art with pressed flowers. Ellie will share tips on sucessful flower pressing. Participants will then have the opportunity to create bookmarks, cards,, and/or wall art with a wide variety of pressed flowers, leaves and stems. All materials will be provided. Feel free to bring candles (2-3" in diameter), little boxes, or other trinkets that you might want to decorate. LImit of 20 participants. Cost $20. All proceeds donated to CBE General Fund. Register by December 1, 2025
